Distribution of Hazardous Materials in The European Union in The Context of The Implementation of Transport Processes

The article deals with the analysis of the transport process on the example of hazardous materials transportation.

The purpose of the article is to characterize the distribution network of hazardous materials in the European Union in the context of the implementation of transport processes with particular attention to the practice of organizing and carrying out transport in the company under study. This topic was chosen for two reasons. Firstly, each transport of hazardous material requires an appropriate approach, it is necessary to take into account the risks generated by the substance and the transport technology is adjusted under it. Secondly, in recent years it is possible to see an increase in the volume of transported goods, and the same applies to the transportation of hazardous materials.

The first part of the article presents some theoretical aspects of hazardous materials transportation. The second part is an analysis of the transportation process in a selected hazardous materials distribution company in the European Union. The last part is the conclusions. The primary source of data for the development of the article was data obtained from the enterprise.
